My daughter made it to finals! The state held a fine arts convention and she got invited to the nationals convention in Orlando, FL. Being her first year, I know it will be a learning experience, but she can sing very well. Hope it is a happy time for her!

Wow, what a weird summer! I don't remember a summer so "wet". It is still raining. That usually happens through spring, but come on! Should be thankful though, I planted 12 new trees and don't have to stand there with a hose lately! Good Day, everyone!

Went to see Heart and Journey last night at the infamous Red Rocks Amp in morrison, CO. It is such a beautiful setting. The Wilsons were a class act (as always) I love those girls! Journey is a personal struggle for me. For many years I joke that my baby brother and Steve Perry are twins. Problem, my bro don't sing so good! The new singer is very good, but just not "the voice" if you know what I mean. I got too toasted, but lucky me, I had a DD. What fun it was. I got tickets in the 2nd row and could follow Nancy's chord changes. Was really cool. I think I woke up still drunk, but sometimes ya gotta!
